Cougars fall just short against #9 ranked Glenbrook So. 19-25, 25-20, 13-15 then d. Hononegah and Plainfield South in our home quad to move to 26-8. With 27 kills, Ben Miller sets the single season kills record for VHHS in the rally score era. He’s at 333 and counting.

Dulguun’s eyewear not enough as the Cougars fall to Barrington and New Trier to finish 4th overall at the Northside Classic. Falling short makes you wanna work harder on Monday. And we will. VH 23-6 and looking forward to a CSL matchup Tuesday at Highland Park.

Cougars finish 3-0 in pool play at the Northside Classic, with wins over Warren, Glenbrook North, and Hersey. Gold semis 10 am at New Trier vs. Barrington. Now 23-4. Don’t have the stats, but Julian led the night in energy and enthusiasm.

VH hosted the IHSA sectional & took it home. Competing teams included Addison Trail, Lake Park, Grant, Palatine, Warren & Vernon Hills. We earned 1st & 2nd in singles and 1st in doubles, furthermore, our singles #1, singles #2 & doubles #1 are going to state. Let’s go Cougars!

5/1: Cougar LAX travels to Rolling Meadows for a 10-4 Varsity win. A 7 minute stall by the Mustangs, followed by an attempted scoring drive with 40 seconds remaining is broken by a staunch VH JV defense, resulting in a 6-6 tie. @vhh

Cougars a little short-handed but battle and get contributions up and down the roster to post a 25-23. 21-25, 25-22 win over Niles West. Liam Boehme leads with 15 kills. Sarthak Agrawal puts up 30 assists and 2 blocks. VH now 19-4 (5-1 CSL).

4/30: Varsity takes on NN at home on a beautiful senior night. The fans came in droves to support the team (and get some free dogs) as varsity won 7-0. Special thanks to Coach Heier for his help and Coach Munro as Grill Master. JV also took their match 7-0. @VHHSAth
