Varsity & JV are North CSL Conference champions! VH had a successful weekend. Friday, Varsity took home 4 first places & 2 second places in doubles play & continued on Saturday with 9 first place, 2 second place & 1 third place finishes taking 1st place overall in the conference
4/25: Varsity GLAX wins a conference game vs. Highland Park 9-4. V Cairo 7 saves. Goals: A Bell & I Smith 3, A Heim 2, T Korner 1. Great effort on both the offensive and defensive sides of the field (and the middle)! JV loses to HP 2-10. @VHHSAth
The all senior lineup on Sr. Night looked a little strange, with guys in some odd positions. But they’re good friends, they were all out there, and they had a lot of fun in tonight’s win vs. Wheeling. Cougars now 18-4.

Girls' water polo, down 4 at one point against Lake Forest, ties the game in the fourth quarter 11-11.  They played tough defense and scored 5 more goals in overtime, winning 16-13. Cougars now 12-13 on the year.
4/24: Varsity took on Maine East last night and came away with a 7-0 win. Tonight, Cougars get an 8-1 win over Maine South with 3 matches coming down to 3rd set breakers. Cougars take 2/3 breakers, including a 12-10 win at 1D. HP tomorrow. @VHHSAth
Cougars with a big win over Niles North 25-19, 32-30. Adkisson 19 digs and Miller 17 kills and the whole team with great fight. VH now 17-4 (4-1 CSL North). Liam seems excited. Right? Or flexing?

Vernon Hills Girls' Water polo hosted Maine South for senior night on Monday. It was a tough loss with a score of 2 to 12. Player of the game is Katherine Utsis with 5 steals. This brings their season record to 11-13.
Vernon Hills hosted Lake Forest this afternoon. The cougars demonstrate tenacity on their senior night with an overall score of 15-3 against the LF Scouts. JV trails behind with a score of 14-4 & Freshman 10-6. Cougar badminton earns their W for all levels 🎉
Girls' water polo hosted Niles West, Solorio Academy and St. Charles East in a quad Saturday. Dropped first game 6-10 to Niles West. Defeated Solorio Academy 8-7. Defeated St. Charles East 12-8. Cougars' season record is now 11-12.
